1951 Popperette popcorn machine

Ahh, the smell of fresh popcorn. It can’t be beat. This is what this unique mechanical device delivers, a batch of fresh-popped popcorn for a nickel. The whole process takes about a minute. Internally, this machine pumps fresh oil to the popper, heats the kernels to just the right temperature, a spring empties the popped contents to the consumer, add a little salt to the mix, and enjoy your confection. These machines were produced in quantity in the ’40s and ’50s and found their way to movie theaters and drive-ins. This mechanical marvel has been restored to its glory days. Enjoy a bag today!
