1975 Playmatic clown

This single-player game is extremely rare in the United States as it was manufactured in Barcelona, Spain by a company known as Playmatic. Only a few of these machines made it to these shores. Playmatic made a bunch of pins but mostly four-player games. The unique feature found in Playmatic machines is the finish on the play fields. They never wore out as they were heavily plastic coated to protect them. These games also have very fast play fields and the ball really moves on these games. This game has a wheel which spins to spot potential point rewards or “flash” awards. These rewards are scored when the center kick-out hole is conquered. The specials on the game are lit when the appropriate “flash” light is completed. This game also incorporates an up-post between the flippers to block the ball from draining down the middle of the game. A nicely laid-out symmetrical play field. Points are the most likely way to win a replay.
